About me

My name is Joost Bouman and I have been interested in photography for decades. Long time ago I started with an analog SLR camera, which of course I took with me on my trips to America, Canada and Australia. I shot many rolls of film with it. With the arrival of digital SLRs, even more options became available and it also became possible to (digitally) edit my own photos. Now I mainly focus on landscape, wildlife and travel photography. Due to my 'other' activities with innovative SME companies, which I supervise from my own company Innovatiemakelaars, I sometimes also engage in industrial product photography.

I really like the rougher landscapes you can find in  Scandinavia, Iceland and Canada, for example. But places closer to home like the Hoge Veluwe and the Unesco World Heritage site the Wadden area are also favorites.

I like to combine landscape photography with capturing all kinds of wildlife that walks, flies or swims in these landscapes. So the best of both worlds.
